It looks like blizzard decided to make a significant change to some WDB files in 3.0.2. Field definitions are no longer static, meaning different records can have different amounts of fields. No simple definition update this time around, I’ll probably have to rewrite a large portion of my code.
I’ll try to have a new version out as soon as possible.
As much as I enjoy the idea of updating the wdb.yaml everytime the wdb fields get updated, the simple fact is I’m a lazy bastard and there’s no way I’m going to do that. Hell, it has been a couple months since I’ve even touched World of Warcraft.
So to keep it updated, I have set up a definition update page here. If you have a working version of wdb.yaml, send me an email (or leave a comment) with the version it works for, and I’ll update the page with credit to you. It doesn’t even need to support all the wdb files, just updating a single wdb file definition is fine.
Later on I might make the page a little bit more dynamic, such as editing the file via a wiki or something similar. For now, just send me your version and I’ll merge it with the latest.

I have been browsing the warrior forums recently and I found a couple of good reads that I recommend to any other tanks out there. The first one debunks common misconceptions about Warriors’ new 41 protection talent ‘Devastate’:
The following is an honest look at realistic values for Warriors who will be choosing to use the 41-point talent Devastate. When I began doing the math, I did not think that Devastate would be great, certainly not as good as my findings lead me to believe; Kenco’s recent post was the nail in the coffin. The following assumes Devastate is not normalized; if it is, it will substantially increase DPS for faster weapons — which is good.

Threat priority remains intact
Shield Slam is your most important threat ability. Revenge comes next. Devastate next. Heroic Strike last. This hasn’t changed, so don’t be stupid and spam Devastate thinking it will be a godsend — it isn’t meant to be.
